| Shortly after my 40th birthday a couple of years ago, I decided to do something I had always wanted to do: learn to ride a motorcycle. So, I bought a gently used 1993 800cc Suzuki Intruder, took the motorcycle safety training course, and started riding! I rode alone mostly during my first year on the road, which was fun, but there was something missing. When I heard that a women’s motorcycle riding club was forming in Athens, I signed up immediately. Riding with, and getting to know this great group of women has definitely increased the joy of riding for me. |
