| I never thought I'd ever be riding a bike with an engine (being a
long time cyclist), but in 2006 a friend at work bought a little white
Honda Rebel 250. The day she got it I found myself saying "I want
that bike when you trade up". Eight months later it was in my driveway.
I thought it was HUGE! I dropped it 3 times the first few weeks I
had it and I almost failed the MSF class. Then I heard about Women
on Wheels®, joined in June of '07, and knew I'd have a good group to
ride with. I gained confidence and after a 110 mile ride one
Saturday morning on the Rebel I knew I was ready to trade up. I now ride a beautiful 2007 Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom. My family thinks I'm crazy. |
